“La Cultura Antimpampa” brinda la oportunidad de visualizar a una cultura antigua que vivió en las tierras altas del sur andino del Perú. Ellos fueron capaces de erigir exitosos acueductos desde manantiales situados a kilómetros de distancia, que aún son utilizados por los agricultores. Los antiguos pobladores de Antimpampa nos dejaron algunas pistas para entender su vida social, y creencias simbolizados por sus pirámides, mausoleos y ciudadelas. “The Antimpampa Culture” opens a window into an ancient culture that once lived in the Southern Andean Highlands of Peru. These amazing people were innovative and hard working as they successfully engineered and built aqueducts to bring water into the community and farmland from springs located miles away that are still being used by farmers today. The ancient inhabitants of Antimpampa left us clues to understand their social life and beliefs symbolized by their pyramids, mausoleums and citadels. Their use of art in carved monolith stones, painted rocks and ceramics depicting animals and people, ingeniously using a variety of different colors and techniques, gives us insight into their culture and daily lives.
