Nipper Collectibles Volume II is written to supplement the information and collectibles found in Nipper Collectibles  The RCA Victor Trademark Dog, a book we published in 2007. Nipper collectibles found in Volume II are not found in the Nipper Collectibles book, as collectors brought to our attention many vintage Nipper items not previously described. Many new Nipper collectibles have arrived at the marketplace. Perhaps this is because the trademark is no longer a registered trademark in the United States. Once the world's most recognizable trademark, Nipper can now only appear in the country of origin. Because of territorial licensing, he can no longer be used as a tool for global marketing and identification of a product. Years of neglect and corporate mismanagement have diminished Nipper's recognition by younger generations. This update is organized chronologically. The oldest Nipper collectibles are found in Chapter 1 and newest collectibles are found in Chapter 5. In Chapter 6 you will find both new and old Nipper imposters. Use the various trademark logos to help determine the date of Nipper collectibles.
