IT’S A RAP! “What’s
that?” you ask: It’s a spiritual flavorable, break it down book of
rhythm and blues of being a teen. It’s a mother-daughter duet combining
together to help save lives with the written word. The book has pizzazz,
as you’ll see in the segments of “Mandi’s Minute” which gives a hip teen
point of view. Take a seat, stay a while, and be open to receive a
blessing. Holla!!.
Easy reading; a tool especially useful for youth ministry. Open,
honest and direct poems to make you search your heart and decide this
day whom you will serve. I like this book very much, and I recommend it
with all my heart.
--- Minister Rhonda L. Neal First Lady, Mt. Ennon Baptist Church, Clinton,
MD
This is a unique mother-daughter teamwork, as they reflect on some very
important issues today's teens face. They speak to both young men and
young women. The mother uses poems to express issues she knows teens and
young adults are dealing with today, keeping in mind her own daughter
and son. To add to that, her daughter writing as “Mandi's Minute”
provides a young teen's view and follow-up of the issues raised by the
poem. Mandi's Minute also provides some insightful encouragement and
challenges to the reader.

Fine Art of Marriage: When Two Become One”
About the Author
--
The authors are a
mother-daughter team who share many of the same talents. They have
shared many activities together including: piano lessons, art lessons,
and now they share their love for creative writing together. Amanda is
on the Praise Dance Ministry, and is Vice President of our church Youth
Ministry. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys designing hair-braiding
styles. Judy has been involved in youth ministry throughout her
Christian walk. She is the mother of two teens, and has always enjoyed
being involved in their lives, as well as in the lives of their friends
and our relatives. She tries to use every opportunity to “pour wisdom”
into their lives. They both have drawn on their experiences, and the
realization of the world in which we live for inspiration for this book.
