About the book --

We are delighted to publish our 6th edition of Tails of Love commemorating the 70th anniversary of Humane Society of the Ozarks. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our sponsors, photographers and volunteers who donated their time to assist with the publication. Because of all of you and our many donors throughout the last 70 years, you have enabled HSO to be the driving force for animal welfare in Northwest Arkansas since 1946. HSO is a local non-profit organization. All funds donated to HSO are used to fund programs in the Northwest Arkansas community, including low-cost spay/neuter assistance, emergency vet care assistance, rescue/adoption, shelter/rescue outreach, feral cat trap/neuter/return (TNR), senior pet care and community education. We are proud of our rich history and hope you enjoy learning about the role HSO has played in shaping animal welfare in Northwest Arkansas. We know our work is not finished. We look forward to many more years of serving the people and animals in Northwest Arkansas and continuing our mission to promote the humane treatment of animals through education and advocacy.
