behind Choi Kwang Do and how its practitioners can live more productive,
longer and healthier lives.

Black Belt, including step-by-step instructions for performing basic
techniques, patterns, speed drills, defense drills, target training and
close range defense. It is a valuable resource for anyone, from the

Comment from Paul Clifton,
Editor of Combat, Traditional Karate, and TaeKwon-Do &
Korean Martial Arts:
As the editor of three
leading martial arts magazines, I can assure you that there is very
little that can be classed as new in the world of martial arts. Which
is why I must admit that I too was very skeptical about some of the
statements being brandished, such as “It has given me a new vigor for
life” and “Since taking up the study of Choi Kwang Do, I can now face
any obstacle in life.” My skepticism was quashed, however, when I
finally had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing the man behind
this revolutionary martial art: Grandmaster Kwang Jo Choi. This man
has helped many thousands of people to achieve their goals and
overcome great personal problems. But more importantly, he has brought
back essential and traditional values such as manners, respect,
dignity, courtesy, self-belief, and pride—all the qualities which have
slipped through the net of time but are (by design) crucial to the
study of Choi Kwang Do. You would be forgiven for thinking that all he
has achieved to date would be enough for the lifetime work of one man,
but you would be wrong. I know that, as time progresses, so will Choi
Kwang Do. I also know that there are many unique and exciting
developments in progress of which I cannot speak at this time. Suffice
it to say that the rest of the martial arts world waits with bated
breath to see just what else they can plagiarize in order to maintain
their second-choice status to that of Choi Kwang Do. I can assure you,
with my vast experience in the martial arts world, that no other
martial art is working as hard to improve and advance as Choi Kwang
Do.
