the Back Cover --
A Wind From God: Prayers for
Recovery from Hurricane Katrina attempts to create a climate conducive
to healing these wounds, by helping the reader connect the story of the
storm with the story of the Christian faith. It includes forty
meditations modeled on the practice of Lectio Divina, holy reading. The
meditations are intended to serve as examples for the reader’s own
journaling.
