About the Author

Alva Sachs holds a
Master of Education degree from Northern Illinois University. Reading
with young people has always been a treasured memory of hers. Raising a
family and sixteen years of teaching introduced Alva to her passion for
writing children's books. Alva and her husband, Paul, have three grown
children, Justin, Jessica and Julie. Alva and Paul live in California
with their two beagles, Jackie and Jill.
